Well here is my favourite sport. Speedway with Berwick Bandits being the team.

4 riders on the track, 4 laps and 15 heats. Surface shale, motorcycles 500cc single cylinder with NO brakes!

They race around the football park at Shielfield Stadium in Berwick Upon Tweed.

Saturday nights from 7pm March to September. These guys throw the bikes around that track at up to 75mph and quite often come together at these speeds. Well worth a visit and the promotion at this stadium have put their effort into making this a real family sport.

County Maigh Eo is a wonderful part of the world. Set on the rugged North West Coast of Eire I have spent some very happy days there from childhood through to present time.

Not always blessed with sunshine however none the less when the sun did arrive it was very nice. The Atlantic crashes to the shore it makes for lots of nice pictures.

The rocks above are set near to Killala.

The Tornado as it flew through the Lothian countryside near to Torness.

From an interest in just pointing a camera at items, either landscapes or motor sports I have been encouraged to add some pictures to the creature that is the web!

I hope to keep this site up to date as best I can given spare time is precious and add some pictures to the site as I go. All pictures on this site ate taken by myself using either my Olympus E3 or Nikon D7000.

Bit about me, country pursuits enjoy nothing better than capturing wildlife as it frequents its natural habitat.

Motor racing, be it a bike or a car the sound and smell associated with the need for speed sometimes results in that picture that just wants to make you capture more.

The shore or riverside are also great places away from it all with just the sound of the water and wildlife in the background.
